We were honored to have hosted the Annual Ramadan Friendship Iftar Dinner, a beautiful gathering rooted in unity, gratitude, and connection. This event brought together diverse communities during the blessed month of Ramadan, fostering friendship, understanding, and harmony among all who attended. We were especially grateful to have East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva join us, adding his support and helping strengthen the spirit of togetherness that defines this tradition. It was a meaningful evening where shared meals, warm conversations, and collective reflection reminded us of the power of community.

The dinner promoted interfaith dialogue among various religious, cultural, and ethnic groups, creating meaningful opportunities for guests to connect, share their traditions, and learn from one another. Through open conversation and mutual respect, the gathering helped strengthen understanding, build new relationships, and celebrate the rich diversity within our community.

Attendees shared their traditions and values while breaking bread together during Iftar, the evening meal that marks the end of the daily fast. Through heartfelt conversations, storytelling, and the exchange of cultural practices, guests were able to connect on a deeper level and appreciate the diverse experiences that enrich our community.

Thanks to the Barrington Congregational Church U.C.C for opening doors to Maple Foundation
