Maple Foundation Annual Community Iftaar Diner 2026

The Maple Foundation was honored to host our annual Community Iftar this Ramadan at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Barrington. The evening brought together friends, neighbors, community members, and local leaders for a warm and welcoming gathering centered on connection, reflection, and shared values.
Community Iftar is a special tradition during Ramadan, where people gather to break their fast together and spend time in fellowship. Each year, the Maple Foundation organizes this event to create a space where people from different backgrounds can come together, learn from one another, and celebrate the diversity that strengthens our community.
We were especially grateful to welcome the Mayor of East Providence, whose presence and kind words highlighted the importance of unity, friendship, and mutual respect among the many cultures that make up our region.
We also extend our sincere thanks to St. John’s Episcopal Church for generously hosting the event and helping create a welcoming space for this meaningful gathering.
The evening was filled with great conversations, shared meals, and a spirit of community that reflects the heart of Ramadan. We are thankful to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s Community Iftar a memorable and uplifting event.
