On April 3rd, the Maple Foundation, in collaboration with the East Providence Municipality, successfully hosted our annual iftar dinner. The evening brought together community members in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, enriched by a soulful ney performance and a captivating guitar recital. Guests enjoyed a variety of delightful Turkish dishes, creating a memorable cultural and culinary experience. The event served not only as a celebration of Ramadan but also as an opportunity to strengthen community bonds and share traditions in a spirit of unity and gratitude.

Father Bob Mosher delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting the importance of interfaith dialogue in building global harmony and mutual understanding. Mayor Bob Silva echoed his message in an inclusive address and honored us with a Certificate of Recognition for our contributions to the community.

We sincerely thank Mayor Bob DaSilva and his entire team, with special appreciation to Ms. Vargas, for welcoming us so warmly and offering valuable guidance whenever we needed it. Their support helped ensure that everything ran smoothly. We are also deeply grateful to the association volunteers whose time, effort, and dedication went into preparing the meals that everyone enjoyed. Finally, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our members, whose generosity in covering the expenses and contributing in so many ways made this event not only possible, but truly successful. Your commitment and collaboration are what allow our community to thrive.
